Hope for Tomorrow is a youth mentoring organization with chapters around the Twin Cities. The mission of Hope for Tomorrow is to empower young teens to realize their full personal and academic potential by reinforcing critical life skills through mentoring relationships with caring adults.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Hope for Tomorrow Board of Directors
Job Description: Provide administrative support to the Hope for Tomorrow Board of Directors as outlined below or assigned by the Board. This position is compensated as an hourly contract position with an average of 3 - 5 hours per month except in August, September and October when it can be 5 - 20 hours per month during registration and mentor background checks.

Job Duties:
*Attend Board meetings, take minutes and distribute to the Board
*Maintain Board and organization official documents in print and online
**Maintain mentor data base
*Conduct annual mentor registration
*Confirm mentor background checks through school contacts
*Assist with registration and communication for Mentor kick off
*Assist with registration and communication for Fundraising event(s)
*Other duties as assigned by Board of Directors

Timeline:
4 Board meetings per year
Fall kick off event
Spring fundraising event
Late summer/early fall mentor registration and background checks
